Video Games

There have been many adaptations of the popular Chinese mythological story Journey To The West, whether they're done via anime (Saiyuki, Dragon Ball), Chinese TV serials and operas written by the dudes who created Gorillaz (Monkey: Journey To The West). In regards to the video game realm there has been very little to few in-between when it comes to bringing the classic tale to the consoles. Last year famed motion capture actor Andy Serkis and 28 Days Later writer Alex Garland teamed up to bring us a more Western approach to the tale, known as Enslaved: Odyssey To The West.

Out of all the games I've played both at PAX East and E3 no title has gotten me more excited to put my shift into gear than Jimmie Johnson's Anything With An Engine. It's almost time to truly put the pedal to the metal...

Good PS Minis titles come far and few in-between, and while some may be made as something as to waste some unneeded time Dr. Maybee and the Adventures of Scarygirl at least has enough heart and tradition at its core to make it a title worth looking at.

Music, anime, movies, games and sports! It's a big-assed smorgasbord on this new episode of the B3 show!

This is one I have been putting off for a patch, or a base build that is worthy. If you know Minecraft then you either love it or decided it's not for you.  If you do not know about this game yet, you might have just found the best title in ages.  So what is Minecraft anyway? Well to be honest it's hard to explain...

One of my favorite games at E3 this year is finally set to take on the world...

When the Kinect was first announced a couple years ago players across the globe had high hopes regarding what can be accomplished with the peripheral. Sadly some of our gaming prayers have yet to be answered. Since its inception the Kinect has brought us party game after dance game after exercise title, and while they’re not bad per se it still is leaving the hardcore gamers craving for more. Fortunately SEGA has heard our woes, and at E3 this year gamers were given the chance to go body-on with Rise of Nightmares, the first-ever first-person free-roaming survival melee Kinect title.

It's Podcast time again, with an episode filled to the brim with gaming, sports and recent movies!

Has the man who brought us such jaw-dropping titles as No More Heroes, Killer7 and Shadows of the Damned finally topped himself? After seeing the trailer for the upcoming title Lollipop Chainsaw the answer is very obvious!

Since I've been poor recently, my friend and I have plunged down to Free-To-Play Lane (with the occasional beta testing). My friend pulled me into a game called Mythos, which failed to gain any leeway due to the company flagship going bankrupt and being sold to a company HanbitSoft. They remade Mythos, changed their business model and released it free-to-play in Europe. (The other title, Hellgate, is already out in Korea and Japan.) Since Mythos is in English and easily accessible for Americans, I decided to give it a go.
