Video Games

With 2013 gaming now about to start it's time we look back at the games we remember both fondly and smugly at from year's past. Because it's fun to trash-talk, let's start things off with five of the worst games to come out this year!

As we are closing off 2012 and entering the new year, it would be wise to mention that we do not condone the act of culinary fornication. (We do, however, find it hilarious!)

It's been over a decade since we've had a Mario title released with the launch of a new console (and yes, I am in the minority that counts Gamecube's Luigi's Mansion as a Mario launch title). With New Super Mario Bros. U the Brooklyn plumber takes his adventures into the realm of HD for the first time, with beautiful results to boot.

Our favorite Vagabond shows up on this week's B3 episode!

My heart was racing as I searched the dark hallways of Buckingham Palace, making damn sure that there were no zombies in my vicinity. Ammo was low, but I had to keep it in my stock in case I desperately needed it. As my health bar began to blink I realized I needed to snack on something. Quickly I brought up BOB (Bug-Out Bag), and began to search through my stock of food and necessities. That's when the swarm came, and quickly I got to my feet as they began to attack me. I tried swinging my cricket bat as much as I could, but it was too much for one man to handle. Letting out a scream I was engulfed by pale arms and rotting teeth, and I became one of them.

Welcome to ZombiU, the scariest game you'll play this year.

Earlier this year Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja released Ninja Gaiden 3, which was supposed to bring Ryu Hayabusa back to his roots. Instead we were given a game that was riddled with weak AI, and a few "pivotal" moments early that went in a direction that many considered to be anti-characteristic of Hayabusa's code of ethics. (The part in Level 1 where Ryu cuts down a soldier pleading for his life was the lowest point in Ninja Gaiden's history.)

I can seriously say that I have not been able to play any of the past Serious Sam games. However I found Serious Sam 3: BFE to bring me back to old-style gaming like Doom, Duke Nukem, and everything else in-between. It's like they brought back the simplistic shooter with better graphics and some funny one-liners.

It's the launch of a new system, and what better way to jump on it than have some bad-ass guests on the show!

Recently the guys over at Rebellion and 505 Games released new DLC for the very well-made game Sniper Elite V2, and for once they delivered with what I've been asking for!
