Welcome back, Burnout series! I thought you were gone, but what has happened to thee? It seems that you have lost your awesome graphics, exchanging them for some cartoon shenanigans. Along with that the in-car to third-person view to this far-away bird's-eye view doesn't help whatsoever. However you were able to keep the crash into cars and create what seemed to be an unlimited amount of explosions.

Once in a great while there comes a game whose protagonist represents the average guy just doing the right thing to get by. Sometimes the developers get it right, whereas other times they jump the shark and make the hero too strong to symbolize a regular person's strengths. Rochard, the first game from Recoil Games, takes the everyman approach, puts it in space and gives us one hell of a ride.

Ugly Americans is one of the funniest cartoons to come out stateside, thanks in part to its inventive characters, humorous storylines and one-liners. When word got out that there would be a video game tie-in called Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon coming out for the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade I got genuinely excited. Alas, my excitement died down quickly when I started playing it.
