Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 80 | JATA
Earth is in great need of human contact, and JATA pushes that idea in his upcoming EP Crazy Game of Phobias (in stores October 1st). The new record reminds listeners of a time when we could be in the same room as our friends, attend events carefree, and have a moment of zero cares in the mind. But as we've come to find in the last year, not seeing those whom we care most about has brought plenty of heartache for those who desire even the simplest of caresses. Yet despite the negativity of having no one to touch and hold, its title track aims to embrace its listeners with a melody that's worthy of any dance floor. It goes to show that even in a time of loneliness, there's always room to let your body flow to a beautiful song, something that JATA has done well here! While we wait for Crazy Game of Phobias to drop, JATA has graciously delivered us a whirlwind of a Shameless Tuesdays playlist!
Here's what JATA has to say about this week's playlist:
“This Spotify playlist contains some of my favorite artists and songs - it's like a music path that I followed along for the past 20 years, which inspired me a lot as a songwriter and composer. These are mainly indie rock and electronic music bands and artists that also were the music I used to listen from the university period on... and I never stopped to do. Some of these songs are like milestones in rock music history , but some of these are also my songs and featurings that I had the great pleasure to create with great artists! I really hope you all enjoy these selections as much as I do, because it reflects part of my life. Thanks Boston Bastard Brigade for letting me curate this playlist!"
