Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 66 |The Academy of Sun's Nick Hudson
Within The Academy of Sun, frontman Nick Hudson can be something of a showstopper in a dark musical escapade; on his own, his talents will pull any listener into a whirlwind of emotions! Arriving on April 30th, his latest solo album The Font of Human Fractures finds its voice throughout multiple genre transformations. This is hinted at in the album's single "Surkov's Dream", which haunts its way through the brain via church organs, ominous string sections, and heartbroken vocals. Its b-side "There is No Such Thing as You" treads similar ground, this time with a sole piano demonstrating the anguish of losing the love of your life. Now, with another EP just releasing before the album arrives, Nick Hudson comes to take us on a journey towards serenity in this week's Shameless Tuesdays!
