Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 62 | Thrillsville
Thrillsville is what we would like to categorize as dark macabre circus melodies. One listen will transport you into a strobe light-engulfed spiral, where freaks and anomalies that are aching to take over the outside world! Their latest EP Say Goodbye To The Light easily drags anyone's ass onto the dance floor, with opener "The Fever" and the march-to-Hell-sounding "The Caller" waltzing along with sadistic confidence. Led by composer Rani Sharone -- whose circle of collaborators include the likes of Marilyn Manson and Puscifier -- Thrillsville crafts a sound that crawls under your skin, but in a very euphoric way. Now, here to drag us all down to the delicious darkness, Thrillsville is playing head carnie barker to this week's Shameless Tuesdays!

"Because I listen to so many different types of music ranging from experimental classical, film soundtracks, industrial, and everything in between I chose to narrow down the scope of this playlist to music I'm somehow affiliated with, plus new music that i'm currently listening to. I'm also really digging Vowws so adding a song by them seemed appropriate and I've also been listening to Martin Gore's latest singles, which i think are fantastic.
Also included in the playlist is a recent release of my other band Stolen Babies, a track I played bass on for my friend and collaborator Precious Child, new music by Puscifer as well as an older song of theirs that I played bass on and a remix I did a few years back which kind of ties things together, and some songs my good friend film composer Tyler Bates wrote for the DC's Dark Nights that my brother played drums on as well as a track by Saudade in collaboration with Chino Moreno (Deftones) and Chelsea Wolfe that my brother also played drums on. I'm sure I'll be kicking myself later for forgetting other relevant music I could have added, but I think this is a well rounded playlist with some of my own music sprinkled in. Hope you enjoy it.
