The Pull of Autumn was one of the first participants of Shameless Tuesdays, with their original playlist showcased two years ago! Since that time, the New England-based indie rockers have expanded their reach, with many new collaborators itching to dive into their musical foliage. For their third album Small Colors, mastermind Daniel Darrow has called upon the world to his melodious realm, including Japan's Broken Little Sister and Germany's Seasurfer. With loads of ingredients thrown in, the end result is an audible smorgasbord of genres, beauty, and psychedelic weirdness. And now, to add just a tad more flavor, The Pull of Autumn have returned to Shameless Tuesdays to present us with an extra course of tasty musical gems.

Here's what Daniel Darrow has to say about this week's playlist:

For this playlist, we’ve decided to include a lot of old favorites, including a lot of friends who’ve been lucky enough to play with and those who worked with us on our latest album 'Small Colors'. Crossing many genres, ranging from folk, ethereal, ambient and post-rock, these are a lot of our favorite tunes . Also included In the list are a bunch of newer artists whose music inspires us, including 'Big Thief' and folk singers like Sibylle Baier, who have been rediscovered by a whole new audience. The Covid-19 crisis had seen us all return to some of this music - perhaps triggered by memories of past times or even finding hope in these tunes to get through to better days. Enjoy this large scope of sound.
