Atlanta-based singer K Michelle Dubois roars hard and heavy when behind the mic, raising a middle finger towards the powers of oppression while throwing a fist in the air for those lacking a voice. This is very apparent in her latest album Harness, which drops this Friday across the world. Filled with sneer-inducing angst and tiger-powered rage, her heavy college rock style and energetic lyrics will make any listener quiver with excitement. To celebrate the occasion, she is taking over this week's edition of Shameless Tuesdays!

Here's what K Michelle Dubois has to say about this week's playlist, which has been titled "Atlanta Ladies Rock":

This playlist is made up of Atlanta based (or at least past based) female artists that I have either direct or marginal association with. These are some of my favorite tunes of theirs. Some tunes are brand new, some from the past. The song of mine, "Watertower Revisited", is near and dear to my heart as it's a re-imagining of an vintage tune from my days with Ultrababyfat. From my first solo, Lux Capone, this interpretation of an old tune was a fun exercise and flexed some writing/producing muscles that were just emerging.
