Sentai Filmworks Licenses "Danmachi" Spinoff “Sword Oratoria"

Sentai Filmworks returns to the dungeons of Orario, with its latest license of the long-awaited spinoff series Sword Oratoria: Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side!

A reselling of the original Danmachi series, Sword Oratoria turns its attention towards Princess Ais Wallenstein and the mighty Loki Familia! While the main series had Bell Cranel's story pushing him to his future, Ais's tale sends her deeper into her past. Within the dungeon’s dark & deadly depths, Ais and the other members of the Loki Familia encounter an irregularity that could threaten not just their party, but their entire world.

Sword Oratoria: Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side will be directed by Youhei Suzuki (The “Hentai” Prince and the Stony Cat), with series composition by original anime scribe Hideki Shirane and animation production helmed once more by J. C. Staff. The anime will soon be available exclusively in the U.S. on Anime Strike as a part of the Spring 2017 simulcast season, with a home video release to follow. Anime Strike subscribers can stream new episodes every Friday starting April 14.
