Anime Boston 2023 Announces First Four North American Guests

Anime Boston happens in less than two months, and their first four North American guests have now been revealed! A mixture of newcomers and veterans, voice actors Brandon McInnis, Emi Lo, Sarah Natochenny, and J. Michael Tatum will be appearing at Hynes Convention Center during the Spring convention!

Brandon McInnis is an LA-based voice actor, singer, and translator with over 130 roles in anime and video games. Notable roles include Gyutaro in Demon Slayer, Sir Nighteye in My Hero Academia, Kenshiro Daimon in ODDTAXI, Ares in Banished from the Hero’s Party, and more. Along with his musical collaborations, he regularly posts both cover songs and originals on his YouTube and Spotify, including musical EPs originally from the anime “given” and the Kingdom Hearts franchise. McInnis can be found on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitch.

Emi Lo is a Taiwanese/Chinese-American voice actor and director. They are most well known for voicing Lucy in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Sawatari in Chainsaw Man, Rena in Higurashi: When They Cry, Suma in Demon Slayer, and Columbina/Damselette in Genshin Impact, but can be heard in countless other anime and video games. When Lo is not acting, they can be found playing piano, cosplaying, eating, or exploring natural and man-made ruins. They have an absolutely precious but spoiled Siberian cat named Noctis that has never done anything wrong and is incredibly cute and fluffy.

Sarah Natochenny is an award-winning voice actor best known for her work as Ash Ketchum on Pokémon, currently in its 23rd season. Her other notable roles are Lampo from 44 Cats, Aura from Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V, and Vera from Camp Camp. She can also be heard in notable video games such as Grand Theft Auto V, Thor: The Dark World, and Bullet Witch. In addition, Sarah is the narrator of Marvel’s Black Widow: Bad Blood. Her videos for Vanity Fair, “Sarah Natochenny Improvises 10 New Characters” and “How Pokémon Is Dubbed From Japanese To English,” have garnered over 7 million views. She also runs AMAs with the cast of Pokémon on her Twitch.

J. Michael Tatum is a prolific voice actor, ADR director, and screenwriter. First cast as Rikichi in Samurai 7, Tatum later landed many dream roles, such as Kyoya Ootori in Ouran High School Host Club, Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler, France in Hetalia, Tomoe in Kamisama Kiss, and Okarin Rintarou from Steins;Gate. More recently, he can be heard in My Hero Academia as Tenya Iida. Now, Tatum is currently burning the midnight oil on a number of exciting projects due for release later this year. He also co-hosts Ghoul Intentions, a spooky podcast dedicated to creeping you out.

Anime Boston 2023 will be happening at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, Mass, on April 7 through 9. For more information, visit the official website!
