Deep within Montclair, New Jersey resides Elk City, a band who weave dreams into cool melodies. Since the turn of the century, drummer/producer Ray Ketchem and vocalist/artist Renée LoBue have delivered a laid-back sound that knows how to recharge the listeners' batteries. Their sixth and latest album Above the Water keeps the feelings afloat, especially in the jamming "Your Time Doesn't Exist" and the pounding "Don't You Wanna Try"! Now seeking land after being adrift, Elk City have waved down for us this week's Shameless Tuesdays!
