When The Ember Glows lays down a track, it transports you to a full-on sonic dreamscape. Martin Saint's vocals drags you into a spiral of love, whilst Dan Stefik's drums shield you from the sadness. As bassist Kevin Hills paves the road, Saint and Richard Bunze pluck their guitars to guide listeners through their world. These elements create a singular song, such as their latest single "Silent Love", a follow-up to their Passerby EP. With influences like Echo and the Bunnymen and early U2 worn on their sleeves, The Ember Glows craft a song that feels like a lost classic. Here's a collaborative playlist of several dozen tracks we (The Ember Glows) have put together. Lead guitarist Rich starts it. Bassist Kevin takes over as of Just Mustard. Singer/Guitarist Martin grabs the handles as of The Smiths. Drummer Dan throws plenty of curveballs starting with The Kinks (including Slayer and Fela Kuti!).

At times raw or polished, moody or gritty, old or current, this playlist reflects what we love as fans and to an extent an aesthetic we try to emulate and morph into our own brand. More importantly, these are songs that are a soundtrack to our lives, at least today.
Our selected individual tracks highlight our different personalities but share enough common ground to create a homogenous whole. We reveal ourselves and who we are as much through what we listen to as to the music we write. We hope this gives the listeners a sense of who we are through various sounds that continue to shape us to this day."
