"The Prince of Tennis" Hits US Cinemas This May

Since 1999, The Prince of Tennis has taken over the manga and anime world in Japan. Now over two decades since Ryoma Echizen first hit the court, the franchise eyes the American big screen for its next venture!

Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis <DECIDE> is set to arrive in over 250 US theaters on May 12th! The first 3D-animated film in the series's lifespan, the story takes place in-between the events of the original manga and its New Prince of Tennis sequel. Inspired by his tennis champion father, Ryoma is determined to take his game to the next level and train in the US. But in the middle of an intense tennis battle to save his classmate Sakuno from dangerous villains, they somehow find themselves transported back to the past, just as Ryoma’s father is about to undertake his final championship match at the US Open – when he was mysteriously forced to retire.

Eleven Arts will be releasing the film both subtitled and with a new English dub! Cast members of Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis <DECIDE> include Ry Mckeand (Udo in Attack on Titan: The Final Season) as Ryoma Echizen, David Wald (Keishin Ukai in Haikyu!!) as Nanjiro Echizen, Xanthe Huynh (Haru Okumura in PERSONA 5 the Animation) as Sakuno Ryuzaki, Jonah Scott (Legoshi in BEASTARS as Kunimitsu Tezuka, Tiana Camacho (Ermes Costello in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean) as Emerald, Edward Bosco (Martin Lazzari in Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters) as Wolf, William Ofoegbu (Koku Ganaha in NEXT A-Class) as Boo, and Chris Okawa (Pongsaklek Yunu in number24) as Foo.
