Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 78 | The Gorstey Lea Street Choir

As the fire crackles, the sounds of The Gorstey Lea Street Choir fills the sky alongside the inferno's smoke. Their latest album, ...from Prince's Park to Farsley - Volume I, is like a journey across the stratosphere, with the stars becoming the backdrop of the meteor shower it features. There are hints of Pink Floyd in "One Way Ticket", Jane's Addiction in "Bluebird, Hollywood... Domino", and Pet Shop Boys in "Lowbyrne (Ascent)". But it's all entangled by masterminds Michael Clapham and Russ Phillips's quest for answers found in hidden comfort, bringing forth beauty that's truly intergalactic. Now returning from their trip, The Gorstey Lea Street Choir have beamed down to showcase their own Shameless Tuesdays playlist!

Here's what The Gorstey Lea Street Choir has to say about this week's playlist:

"It's a great honour to be able to curate this playlist for B3 and Shameless Tuesdays... our influences are varied so it was hard to pick 30 songs... maybe 300 next time!!!', says Michael. Russ adds, "We have chosen bands we love from our youth, some great new tracks from newer artists like Keeley, and re-emerging artists like The Great Leap Forward, all tracks that have fuelled our recent fire!!!! We hope you enjoy this."
