Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 26 | Earnhardt
They may have nothing to do with NASCAR, but the NYC-based rock band Earnhardt is geared to race into the hearts of those looking for some killer Southern-influenced rock 'n' roll! Their self-titled album hits stores everywhere on June 14th, and the nine songs in the collection are filled with powerful chords and beautiful lyrical energy. With hints of Tom Petty and eighties-era Bruce Springsteen, Earnhardt deliver one hell of an attention-grabbing debut record that'll have listeners feel like they're gliding high with every note played. To celebrate this wonderful milestone, Earnhardt are grabbing the bull by the horns and taking control of this week's Shameless Tuesdays!
Here's what the band has to say about this week's selections:
The Brooklyn-based bands on this playlist include our friends whom we love to see live, have a beer with, and have shared a stage with. The rest of the songs here represent some our individual favorites, many of whom we listen to regularly and try to see live whenever we can. It is apparent that the appreciation for great songwriting and a warm, well-executed studio recording is one that is shared among all of us. We think these sensibilities were captured very well by Ben Brodin on our debut album.
