Iron Man, Wolverine Anime Set To Air in Mid-2010

November 8th, 2009 by King Baby Duck

Two of Stan Lee's most beloved characters are ready to take on the Japanese public!

It has been confirmed that the Japanese anime adaptations of the Iron Man and Wolverine stories are set to air mid-next year.  Animated by Madhouse (Death Note, Nana, Kamen No Maid Guy, Needless) the two series will run from April-September, which will be followed by a US release in 2011.

Both clocking in at twelve episodes each, Marvel Anime: Iron Man will run on the Animax station from April-June; whereas Marvel Anime: Wolverine will air on the same station from July-September.   There will also be two anime series based on the X-Men and Blade, though there has been no word on when and where they will be shown.
