Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 142 | Two Headed Horse
Listening to Two Headed Horse is like taking a carriage ride through the old countryside. Things have aged with both grace and decay, as a calm and peaceful feeling engulfs your very soul. Their latest single "Shimmer" brings that level of beauty and nostalgia, so much so that you can smell the morning dew that waifs through the melody. It's a hint of what's to come of their upcoming debut EP I'm Not Here, whose title track is equally as serene and beautiful. But until their destination has been reached, Two Headed Horse have fetched us a lovely Shameless Tuesdays to share with the world.

Beneath the Eyelids is a selection of songs that belong, sonically or thematically, to a different realm - a world of dreams, memories, ghosts and the nighttime. Featuring songs from Two Headed Horse, friends of the band, as well as lesser-known gems from some of indie’s big hitters and cult heroes, this playlist is in an order that hopefully enhances the experience.
It’s a playlist to close your eyes to as the imagery and textures take you somewhere far from your daily reality. It’s often how I listen to music, late at night and outside if possible, so it’s the sharing of an experience with a selection of my favourite tracks.
