Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 124 | Mike Gale

There's a time for fun at the beach, and there's a time to chill amongst the waves. Mike Gale certainly falls into the latter category, whose vibes feel like a calm California breeze. "Summer Be Gone", the lead single from his upcoming album Thanks For Always Waving (in stores September 8) is the kind of track you spin when the moon is full and the bonfire is welcoming. As we take one more dip into the ocean, Mike Gale coasts us along with this week's Shameless Tuesdays.

Here's what Mike Gale has to say about this week's playlist:

Increasingly as I get older I find myself turning to music as a reminder not to take life so seriously. The songs I've chosen in this playlist have all at one time or another snapped me out of whatever funk I was in and brought me back to a place of peace and acceptance that none of it really matters. The songs aren't necessarily upbeat but whether it be musically or lyrically they have all helped me find a more pleasant place to live in my own head.
