Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 34 | Mono Inc.

Readers and listeners know that I can be a sucker for gothic folk metal, and Germany's Mono Inc. scratches that itch with a phoenix's talons! 2020 is already gearing up to be filled with fire and brimstone, thanks to the January 24th release of their eleventh album The Book of Fire! The title track tells of its mighty tale, with a somber voice and heavy guitar riffs, all surrounded by the most epic of orchestrations around. That is followed with "Louder Than Hell," which would make even Beelzebub so frightened that he'd need to change his drawers! With cannons armed and a mighty roar, Mono Inc. have stormed the Boston Bastard Brigade's castle and taken control of today's Shameless Tuesdays! (Yes, it's Wednesday, but shit happens!)

Hey, this is Carl from MONO INC. and my Spotify playlist for you guys is compiled of pretty much one common thing – rocking darkness! Next to some of our own biggest hits (and my favourites as well) are bands we had the pleasure to play with and have become dear friends and also a few big inspirations for our own music. We shared our first really big support-shows for Unheilig with Apoptygma Berzerk, have worked together with Lord Of The Lost for years now and made friends with Eisfabrik and Hell Boulevard on our last own headline-tours. We hold all of them dearest to our hearts and can’t imagine building a playlist without them featured. So, before we drop our next album “The Book Of Fire” in January, I hope you enjoy this playlist as much as I do!
