Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 14 | Moist
Yes, it's Wednesday. What can we say? Shameless Tuesdays likes to party hard, especially during the end of the year. And when we like to cool down at the afterparty, we look towards Sweden to find the most chill sounds coming from remixer David Elfström Lilja, better known as Moist!
His recent album Lavine is the perfect record for those wanting to slowly get their groove on or just wanting to lounge in the back room with the beautiful people. With vocals from Maria Marcus, the power that bellows from Moist's latest release is both soothing and adrenaline-pumping, unleashing the beast in any listener whilst carefully softening the bloodthirsty intentions. Outside of Moist, Lilja has a connection to our love of J-POP and K-POP, as he's composed tracks for the likes of Namie Amuro, Girls Generation, and Shinee! Naturally, we found it best to start the new year of Shameless Tuesdays right by having Moist take over this week's playlist!

This playlist has three things in common; Swedish-released, 2018, and songs I really like (yes mine too). It includes pop, synthpop, electropop, electronica, downbeat and more.
My music tastes changing day-by-day, but one thing is always on top of the list, and it's electronic sound and music. It does not need to be electronic like Kraftwerk, but preferably electronic elements for an acoustic guitar for example. I'm having trouble with distorted electric guitars and big rock drums. I never was a rock 'n' roll or blues guy, even if I played the drums in a couple of metal bands back in the days.
I have two friends with all the songs, and it's not to be nice but because I think these songs are amazing; Sister Electra and Skogebrandt. Check them out! Hope you enjoy!
