"Trigun" and "Haruhi" Movies Due in Spring 2010
Two of the most popular anime titles are about to hit the big screen.
The official website for "Trigun the Movie" announced today that the film will be opening this Spring, and will be a new story not drawn in the original manga. The story will follow Millie and Meryl as they travel to a town surrounded by quicksand; only to find Vash, Wolfwood and new bounty-hunter Ameria residing in it. Trouble ensues when a big bounty named Gasback appears to wreck havoc.
In other news the final episode of the re-airing of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" teased its audience with the announcement of a new film. "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" will also be released in Spring 2010, and will follow the storyline of the fourth book of the the same name; where Kyon arrives at his school and finds Haruhi missing, Nagato is an ordinary human and the rest of the school changed as well. No word on its length, but one hopes that this will make up for the disaster known as "Endless Eight."
