Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 163 | The Bolshoi Brothers

The Bolshoi Brothers are a hard band to categorize. Made up of Trevor Tanner and Paul Clark, both original members of Beggars Banquet label's The Bolshoi, the two artists decided to continue their musical journey together as a duo. But working in two separate studios has given the two artists the opportunity to experiment with their sound. Sometimes they give David Gilmour vibes like in "Suburbs". Other times, they'll bring out some Southern twang in "Cowboy Chords". But then a song like "Beautiful Creature" dives into their post-punk roots. With so many sounds to experience on their self-titled debut album, The Bolshoi Brothers offer something for just about anyone! And now, built entirely on obsolescence, The Bolshoi Brothers craft a Shameless Tuesdays playlist engulfed in steam funk!

Here's what Bolishi Brother Paul Clark has to say about this week's playlist:

While putting this playlist together I realized it's the first time I've actually heard the songs in years. I don't use steaming apps, listen to the radio or rarely play my records. Instead the music just lives in my head, in glorious surround sound playing all the time. Here's a small selection.
