With Nik Cockshott's vocals and multi-instrumentalist Andy Golding, their latest peek into their new album The Naughty Step will bring shockwaves to your booty and toes. Andy Golding: "Elvis left the building in a terrible mess" is a line from the song 'We Dance Among You' from the new Dragon Welding album 'The Naughty Step. I chose some of the artists I've worked with and tracks I've played on (Wolfhounds. McCarthy, The Othyrs, Kenny Process Team). The other songs I chose (Funkadelic, Hawkwind etc) are songs that still stick with me after all these years, so they must be doing something right.
Nik Cockshott: "There’s things like my favourite song from my favourite band (It’s A Cracker) to my actual favourite song of all time (The Chair), the song I want played at my funeral (Romance Of The Telescope) and several songs which give away my love of both Manchester where I live, and Norwich, where I don’t. There are also two songs with titles which are also titles of episodes of The Twilight Zone which is the main requirement, obviously. Job done etc."
