The Belgium-based goth metal duo unleashes a bountiful of delightful horrors in their latest album Deadtime Stories. Despite its Cryptkeeper-like pun title, the only laughter found here is the psychotic kind, with songs like "A Heart Cries", "Beautiful Chaos", and "Another Night on Earth" delivering ground-shaking melodies that'd wake up the dead. But fear not, my dear children, as LOVELORN DOLLS pull back the spooky curtain in this week's Shameless Tuesdays to showcase what influenced their night-bumping persona...

The playlist is a mix of influences from Bernard and Kristell. Bernard's tastes are more 80s heavy hard metal, while Kristell's are more 90s emo synth rock influences. For Bernard we therefore find pieces from Queen, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Rammstein, Dream Theater, Epica, Anathema, ...
