Shameless Tuesdays: Livre 129 | Sky Lions

You hear a name like Sky Lions, and you're automatically thrown into a fantasy world! Witches, wizards, and monsters big and small roam within the music and lyrics of the Oregon-based duo's debut album Inside the Circle. Do you draw your sword in its title track? Maybe fight against the lycanthropes in "Werewolves"? Harness mystical powers in "Psychic Gifts"? Toss the dice, and see what fate awaits inside the circle! And if you survive, Sky Lions will deliver another quest via this week's Shameless Tuesdays...

Here's what Sky Lions have to say about this week's playlist, which they've dubbed "IFPP":

Within the playlist is musical diversity. We fuse our deepest influences, cherished favorites, and nostalgic glimpses from our musical adventures. From raw metal to hauntingly soulful singer-songwriter tunes, this playlist offers just a taste of what we have liked or done within the boundless musical universe. More than genres, we sorted (what we find) well written and well performed music in so many of its crazy iterations. In this realm where art entwines with industry, we celebrate the artistry above all else. There are also some hidden gems from Radio and Stace's previous projects, including The Need, Photona, their solo endeavors, guest performances and even a curious holiday tune from Time Bitch.*TID BIT: The synth line and chorus in "You Look Like Warhol '' by Photona were written by Radio.

Let’s go visit the landscapes of the dark, the goofy, the peaceful, the angry, the old and the new!

XO, Sky Lions
