When you pop on Paris Music Corp., the sounds you receive are not of this world. In fact, one can say that the melodies of composer John Andrew Paris feel straight out of a Myst-like video game. Their songs bring forth a trippy dreamscape, but Paris Music Corp. also knows how to turn those dreams into nightmares. Their latest self-titled release -- their first in five years -- dives headfirst into a musical spiral that'd make even Thom Yorke have a mental crisis! But pay close heed to Paris Music Corp., as even the darkest of songs has a hint of glitchy beauty to them.
