Celebrate New Year's in Boston the cool and sophisticated way: with classical music and cabaret punk!

It has been announced that the Dresden Dolls frontwoman Amanda Palmer will be performing with the Boston Pops at their annual New Year's bash on December 31.  This will be the third time Ms. Palmer will be collaborating with Keith Lockhart, the previous times being two concerts in June 2008.

Tickets are on sale now, and range between $80 and $160.  The pre-show will begin at 8 p.m. with entertainment, cash bar and a complimentary dinner.  Ms. Palmer and the Pops are scheduled to go on at 10 p.m.
