King Baby Duck's Recipe: Peanut Blossoms

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup of shortening
1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
48 Hershey kisses

Preheat oven to 375°F

Directions:

1. Stir all-purpose flour, baking soda and salt in large mixer bowl
2. Add the rest of the ingredients except the kisses
3. Mix ingredients on the medium setting of your electric mixer until well combined
4. Place the dough into the refrigerator for 30 minutes
5. Take out of fridge, then roll small amounts of dough into one-inch balls
6. Place on un-greased cookie sheet, and bake for 12 minutes, or until they’re lightly brown
7. Remove from oven, and immediately place a chocolate kiss in each of the cookies
8. Repeat with remaining dough.

Makes 48 cookies!

Anvil's Recipe: Poor Man's Cheesecake

Ingredients:

2 sticks soften cream cheese
1 1/2 tub Cool Whip whipped cream
1 graham cracker crust
(Editor's note: Add any fruit/fillings if desired)

Directions:

1. Mix cream cheese and Cool Whip until smooth
2. Pour mixture into graham cracker crust
3. Place in fridge, wait until chilled to serve

Saignement's Recipe: Pumpkin Cookie Dip

Ingredients:

1 can pumpkin pie filling
1 tub Cool Whip whipped cream
1 box French Vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of cloves

Directions:

1. Mix all the ingredients except Cool Whip together
2. Fold mixture into Cool Whip
3. Refrigerate for two hours or until cold

Joe Frazier, the former heavyweight champion whose furious and intensely personal fights with a taunting Muhammad Ali endure as an epic rivalry in boxing history, died Monday night. He was 67.

Billy Joe Frazier was born on Jan. 12, 1944, in Laurel Bay, S.C., the youngest of 12 children. His father, Rubin, and his mother, Dolly, worked in the fields, and the youngster known as Billy Boy dropped out of school at 13. He dreamed of becoming a boxing champion, throwing his first punches at burlap sacks he stuffed with moss and leaves, pretending to be Joe Louis or Ezzard Charles or Archie Moore.

At 15, Frazier went to New York to live with a brother. A year later he moved to Philadelphia, taking a job in a slaughterhouse. Durham discovered Frazier boxing to lose weight at a Police Athletic League gym in Philadelphia. Under Durham’s guidance, Frazier captured a Golden Gloves championship and won the heavyweight gold medal at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. He turned pro in August 1965, with financial backing from businessmen calling themselves the Cloverlay Group (from cloverleaf, for good luck, and overlay, a betting term signifying good odds). He won his first 11 bouts by knockouts. By winter 1968 his record was 21-0.

Known as Smokin’ Joe, Frazier stalked his opponents around the ring with a crouching, relentless attack — his head low and bobbing, his broad, powerful shoulders hunched — as he bore down on them with an onslaught of withering jabs and crushing body blows, setting them up for his devastating left hook. It was an overpowering modus operandi that led to versions of the heavyweight crown from 1968 to 1973. Frazier won 32 fights in all, 27 by knockouts, losing four times — twice to Ali in furious bouts and twice to George Foreman. He also recorded one draw.

Frazier won the undisputed heavyweight title with a 15-round decision over Ali at Madison Square Garden in March 1971, in an extravaganza known as the Fight of the Century. Ali scored a 12-round decision at the Garden in a non-title bout in January 1974. Then came the Thrilla in Manila championship bout, in October 1975, regarded as one of the greatest fights in boxing history. It ended when a battered Frazier, one eye swollen shut, did not come out for the 15th round.

Smokin' Joe had a long and storied career that will always be remembered. In late September 2011 he was diagnosed with liver cancer and never seemed to get any better. On November 7th 2011 A true legend of boxing lost the greatest fight of him career the one for his life.He will always be remembered as one of the greatest and will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences go out to Joe's family and friends.

It all happens right here on Episode 118: I've Got 99 Cookies 'Cause A Bitch Ate One!

On Saturday November 12 the state of Massachusetts will be revving up for a night of MMA goodness.

Mixed Martial Arts action returns to the Tsonga Center in the fighting city of Lowell, Massachusetts in less than two weeks and the heat is quickly rising around the stacked fight card. The main event at VFN features Rich “No Love” Clementi and Ronnie “Bam Bam” Rogers. A contestant on The Ultimate Fighter reality show and longtime UFC veteran, Clementi has notable wins over Melvin Guillard and Sam Stout, and is coming off of a May loss at Dream in Japan to Shinya Aoki, currently ranked 4th in the world. With over 60 professional fights on his resume more than half of his wins have come by way of submission. Ronnie Rogers enters with a record of 9-5 (5-1 in his last 6) with his last two wins coming over UFC vet Diego Saraiva and Bellator vet Bryan Goldsby. Half of Rogers’ victories have also come via submission, setting this bout up for a ground war.

Also on the card is the tough veteran journeyman clash between Matt Sung Lee and Tiawan Howard. Howard is coming off a split-decision win over UFC/TUF veteran Alex Karalexis in June, while Lee lost a rough battle in his last fight to UFC vet and now Bellator tournament finalist Ben “Killa B” Saunders. Lee has a notable war on his resume in a Bodog title fight with (now) Bellator champion Eddie Alverez that went the distance.

The local featured fight is the professional debuts of Carlos Neto and Ricardo Georges. Georges, at just 20 years old, is considered one of the hottest 170 pounders in New England with a 7-1 amateur record that includes 2 title wins. Neto is making his first appearance in the ring but is a longtime veteran trainer of a Who's Who list of top-level pro's fighting within the UFC, Strikeforce and Bellator. A BJJ black belt, Neto is a former member of famed Brazilian Top Team in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and a winner of countless grappling/BJJ tournaments. He is currently one of the head trainers at Wai Kru in Boston.

There are two featured Amateur fights scheduled; Colton Blanchette vs Ernesto Ornelas and Nick Logan vs Hiago Fontoura. Blanchette heads in to his 7th fight (4-2) at just 19 years old, training out if Cage Strikers. His opponent, 22 year-old Maine native Ornelas is looking to remain undefeated and improve to 3-0. Undefeated Nick Logan enters his third bout in 4 months and has finished his previous fights in less than two minutes each. Fontoura, training with the Fenix Fight Club, is 1-0 and finished his debut in June, also under two minutes.

The Rematch of the Night will take place when Kaline Medeiros and Katie Merrill step in to the ring. The two fought previously in the amateurs, with Merrill getting a first round submission win. This is the pro debut for the undefeated Merrill. Medeiros lost her debut in May.

It's hot off the grill on Episode 110: Bloody Vengeance From A Rock.

The New England Patriots, who are on the road to open the regular season on the 10-year anniversary of September 11, will recognize the somber occasion at tonight's preseason game versus the New York Giants.

As part of the remembrance, the Patriots will host former guard Joe Andruzzi, his three New York City firefighter brothers and his father, a former New York City police officer. It was an iconic moment in franchise history when the four Andruzzi boys and their father were recognized on the field at Foxboro Stadium on Sept. 23, 2001, just 12 days after the events of 9/11 as the NFL returned to play and the country began its long healing process. The Andruzzi family will serve as honorary game captains and participate in the coin toss.

Also as part of the tribute members of all five branches of the military will participate in pregame ceremonies, as well as local police, state police and local firefighters. The Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard will present five separate color guards for the national anthem while dozens of police officers and firefighters line the field from end zone to end zone. Approximately 200 armed service members, police and firefighters will take part in the ceremonies tonight.

In celebration of USA Football month in August, the Patriots also invited 1,500 youth football players and cheerleaders from Massachusetts and Rhode Island to attend Thursday's game free of charge. Invited guests include members of the eight teams that represented New England in the 2010 Pop Warner Super Bowl championships held in Florida. During halftime of Thursday night's game, four local Pop Warner football teams will scrimmage on the Gillette Stadium field. Approximately 100 youth football players from Plymouth (two teams), Bellingham and Arlington will participate in the scrimmages. As both a football fan and someone who lost a family member on 9/11 I believe this will be a great event.

This week the Bastards chime in about why the Oakland Raiders have the worst fanbase on the planet, and wonder when Tim Wakefield is going to get his 200th win. The 2009 film Blood and Bone is on the table, as everyone wonders why Michael Jai White doesn't get the proper respect he's due. Anvil "reviews" the anime Tiger & Bunny, and the demos for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and NHL 12 are examined.

The demo for Xbox Live Arcade game Bastion is looked closely at, the most uneventful week in sports is covered by Anvil, the Duck reviews Horrible Bosses and a preview of some of the most hotly anticipated films is brought into the spotlight.

Editor's Note: While we may not have been fans of Ms. Winehouse -- and make light of the situation -- it is a sad occasion when someone passes away, especially at such a young age. Comedian/actor Russell Brand recently posted a very well-worded eulogy regarding her, and personally I think it serves as a fine rebuttal to what we said in this episode. Take a moment and read it.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to write this about the passing of a great woman. On the morning of July 20, 2011 philanthropist Myra Hiatt Kraft passed away after a long and brave battle with cancer. She was 68.

Mrs. Kraft married in 1963 and had four sons. She was a 1964 graduate of Brandeis University, and did a lot for charity. It is believed that she donated as much as 120 million dollars of her and Robert's money for her causes. "It's easy to write a check," she once said. "But this is what I look at as what my occupation is. I don't know how to play bridge, nor do I want to learn how to play bridge. This is what I do."

She managed the Robert and Myra Kraft Family Foundation, and was president of the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation, contributing millions of dollars to charities in the United States and Israel. She became the first woman, in 1955, to chair the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. Kraft served as chair of United Way and the Combined Jewish Philanthropies. She was also a board member of the American Repertory Theatre and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

In all of the years that her husband ran the New England Patriots and the Revolution she has only been known to of intervened once, and that was after the 1996 draft, when she found out that the team's 5th Round Draft Pick Cristian Peter of Nebraska had a long history of violence towards women. The team relinquished the rights to him within the week.

Recently Mrs. Kraft helped start the NFL's "Kick Cancer" campaign, and the Kraft family donated $20 million to Partners HealthCare System, part of which was earmarked for women's cancers research. In keeping with her legacy Mrs. Kraft didn't widely spread news of her own cancer, but she was generous in her desire to help other victims.

Myself and the King took a trip into Boston for the Cage Titans Fighting Championship Media Day at the Tapout Gym this past Saturday, where a lot was going on from the very beginning.

We checked in and were introduced to the owner of Cage Titans, Michael Polvere, whom you could tell from the first moment you met him had he a true passion for MMA and this company. Michael then introduced us to their head of Public Relations, Brandie. With everything going on and everything she had to do to keep this event running smoothly, she still took time to make sure that if we wanted to speak to a particular fighter or vendor that she would help us do it. We got to talk to a lot of fighters, including The Ultimate Fighter 13 contestant, Chuck "Cold Steel" O'Neil. Brandie then introduced us to David Roast, who is fighting for an inspirational cause that I'm really glad I got to hear about.

We sat there and chatted with the young, talented Roast, who will be donating his entire purse (money he wins from the fight) to the Travis Roy Foundation. For those who don't know who Travis Roy is he was a standout hockey player who played for BU. On his first-ever game for the Terriers he slid head-first into the boards, cracking the forth and fifth vertebra in his neck, leaving him a quadriplegic. He would go on to become the founder of the Travis Roy Foundation, which helps survivors of spinal cord injuries and helps fund research into a cure. So while talking to Davis he introduced us to his friend Jack Shadduck, who due to a neurological disease was left confined to a wheelchair and works for the Foundation. Davis was telling us a little bit about Jack and himself, when Travis Roy came over and the group of us had a discussion about the foundation and what Davis was doing.

Cage Titans: Vendetta will be held on June 25th at the local 103 Union Hall, 256 Freeport Street in Boston. For amateur fighters their purse will be a percentage of tickets sales, so the more people that go the more they can win or donate. So come on down, watch some really good fights and root for David Roast and all the other fighters.

This past Saturday night I went out of my element. We all know I am a big sports and music guy, but this week we went to The Dance Complex in Cambridge. A friend of mine told me about this group that mixes contemporary dance and hip-hop together, so I had to see this for myself. I dragged the King along and as we sat down we began to read a little bit about the group Contemporarily Out of Order and its origins.

The group was founded by Wendy O'Byrne, and the choreography was done by O'Byrne and different members of the group with assistance from the Dance Captain Shaina Schwartz. The show started with a brief introduction, and then the music started. I sat there as the dancers began, and as I watched I started wondering how they were doing some of the these complex moves. From what I saw it looked like there was kind of a major theme with all of the dances and how they were broke down. It felt like love and acceptance was what they were trying to convey with the movements and song selection, which included music from Portishead, Dashboard Confessional, Sublime and Imogen Heap just to name a few.

This group put on a great show, and I know this is one of the best programs I have seen been mended together. I see big things in the future for Contemporarily Out of Order, and in my opinion everyone should go check them out if you want to have a great time. There was only one problem that I had: The Dance Complex wasn't that big of a venue, and I feel that a group like thins could sell out a bigger place with the kind of dancing that I witnessed. I know that I will definitely check out another one of their shows because I truly enjoyed myself. The men and women of Contemporarily Out of Order did a great job and deserve a lot of credit for the program they put on. I wish them all the best of luck going forward with this dance troupe.

As everyone knows the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement ends at 11:59 PM on March 3rd, and from reports they are far from close to getting this done. The teams and the NFLPA have met several times before they turn to the federal mediator to try and hammer things out, and have been meeting almost every day. However they still have some major issues.

These issues are a major sticking point, and they include moving from a 16-game season to an 18-game season, and also dropping from four preseason games to two; not to mention the changing of the rookie pay scale,the benefits for retired players and the amount of money the teams make off the top. As of right now each team gets $1 billion off the top, and now they are trying to get $2 billion. I know this sounds like a lot, but when you break it down to how much it takes to travel and keep the stadium up it isn't. If you look at it your team travels twice across country, which costs about a million dollars. In short: this is important money.

The public doesn't know too much due in part to the mediator putting a gag order against everyone involved from speaking about the negotiations. There are some players who are speaking out, and from what they have said they don't believe there will be a new Collective Bargaining Agreement in place before the deadline, which will likely lead to a lockout. If there is a lockout the league estimates there would be a cut in gross revenues of $350 million, so this will happen if there's no new CBA before the preseason starts. A loss of revenues totaling $1 billion if no new contract is in place until September would also be in the cards. If regular-season games are lost in 2011, the NFL figures that revenue losses would amount to about $400 million per week.This would be a big hit to the league and all the teams, and as we all remember from the NHL lockout it is hard to recover financially and fan base-wise.

As of right now the 32 teams' owners are scheduled to meet Wednesday and Thursday at a hotel in Chantilly, Va. for updates on the status of negotiations, and then they will need to determine their next step. A federal judge just ruled against the NFL over a TV contract after the union accused the NFL of structuring TV contracts agreed to in 2009 and 2010 -- in which owners would be guaranteed money even if there were a work stoppage in 2011 -- and while they wouldn't get the most revenue possible in other seasons, the income would be shared with the players. The union argued this violated an agreement between the sides that says the NFL must make good-faith efforts to maximize revenue for players. The NFLPA also said any work stoppage clauses in TV deals guaranteed "war chest" income for the NFL, giving it an unfair advantage in labor talks.

I know myself as a fan would love to see both sides get this taken care of, but I also have to remember that the NFL is a business, and we all know when it comes to business and money it is hard. So would I love to sit back next season and watch football every Sunday, but I don't think that's going to happen. I say both sides should grow up and find a comprimise that can make everyone happy.Then there is the question of where the players will go. Will they just sit down and relax or will they play in the UFL or CFL? The NFL also still plans on doing the draft this year, even if there is a lockout, so what happens to those players? They bust their butts in college to get to this point -- and then hear their names called -- but in all honesty it will mean nothing. So for all you football fans D-Day is 11:59 PM on March 3, because that's when we find out if we will have our football or not.

The Best of 2010 program is now upon us, and King Baby Duck and Anvil invite their friends Alex and Dianna from Gamer Reaction to give their two cents. In the first part the B3 crew and GR gang give their picks on their favorite movies and sports moments.

King Baby Duck & Anvil bring you the least holiday-filled holiday program ever!

This week two of the main B3 members chat about Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and share their thoughts on the new inductees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Anvil gives his weekly sports report, and the duo review the demos for Quake Arena Arcade, X-Men Arcade and Lilt Line. Finally Anvil reviews the films Across The Line and American Pie: The Book of Live, and end with a tribute to the late Blake Edwards.

With Blueonic out for the week, Nenya steps in and fills his big shoes.

This week the B3 crew share their thoughts on the new My Chemical Romance album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, and Anvil & Nenya give their take in the week of sports. This week the B3 crew give a more thorough view on the Lovesac furniture, and review the recent demos for Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, Dream Chronicles, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage, Costume Quest, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and Super Meat Boy. The trio share their thoughts on the recent Blood Red Shoes concert, the week in sports and reveal why Saw 3D might be one of the worst movies of the year.

Those looking for the next big band should conclude their search; the Bastards have found them. Meet Blood Red Shoes, an up-and-coming UK band that's already taken most of the world by storm.

Recorded at Great Scott in Allston, MA last Sunday the B3 crew sit down with Blood Red Shoes as they are embarking on their first U.S. tour to support their latest album Fire Like This. First up is drummer/vocalist Steven Ansell, who discusses the band's origins, the story behind the music video for "Heartsink," how they beat the pirates to the punch and meeting Edgar Wright.

Then guitarist/vocalist Laura-Mary Carter sits down to share her feelings on the current tour, her Boston roots, the one-of-a-kind guitar known as "Springtime" and how she had to battle the flu in the beginning of the American tour. Plus the duo share their inspirations, which country has awestruck them the most and tell us which three albums they'd take with them if they were stuck on a deserted island.

This week the B3 crew discuss the film The Expendables (followed by a comparison between The Losers and The A-Team) and the week in sports. Also on the table is a three-course Scott Pilgrim meal as King Baby Duck, Blueonic and Anvil talk about the movie Scott Pilgrim VS The World, the movie's soundtrack and the new PSN (and soon-to-be XBOX Live Arcade) video game based on the film and graphic novel series.

For us at the Boston Bastard Brigade this is a long-awaited event. On August 28th the UFC will finally be doing a show here in Boston. Not only are they bringing UFC 118 and a great fight card to Boston, but they are also bringing the UFC Fan Expo on August 27th & 28th to the Hynes Convention Center. The B3 Crew hopes to be able to cover this event for you, as it is a historic occasion for all of Massachusetts. Here's what you have to look forward to at UFC 118:

Frankie Edgar  VS BJ Penn

"THE ANSWER"  NICKNAME "THE PRODIGY"

Anvil: Frankie Edgar won the title from BJ Penn at UFC 112 by a unanimous decision with scoring 50-45, 49-46 and 48-47 all in his favor. Edgar is trained in the disciplines of wrestling, boxing and Brazillian Jujitsu. Penn is trained in the disciplines of Brazilian Jujitsu and boxing. I would give the advantage to Penn because, in my belief, he is the better fighter with a Black Belt in BJJ compared to Edgar's Purple Belt. I also believe this will be another great fight, and I look forward to seeing these to good participants who can either win a fight standing up or on the ground. I don't expect that Penn will let this opportunity to regain his championship slip away from him this time.

Blueonic: From watching previous fights of Frankie and BJ, I'll have to go with BJ on this one. It seemed that last time Frankie got lucky with the decision. I feel that in the situations of a championship card, if it goes all five rounds, it should just go one more. I bet that if it was to have gone the sixth round it would of been in BJ's favor. But I hope to see BJ Penn come out on top when I watch this fight.

King Baby Duck: Edgar proved last time that he could stand toe-to-toe with Penn, and even with a slight height disadvantage he came out on top. Sure Penn has a better belt in the Brazilian Jujitsu, but Edgar showed us in UFC 112 that belts aren't everything. If he has a good strategy I can honestly see Edgar pulling another win over Penn if it came down to another decision. Still Edgar could have one knockout or submission ready to pull out from under his sleeve.

Randy Couture   VS James Toney

"The Natural" NICKNAME "Lights Out"

Anvil: James Toney is making his UFC debut, which is why there are few stats available at this time. James Toney was a boxing stand-out who decided to give MMA a try, and was matched up with UFC Hall-of-Famer Randy Couture. Couture is trained in the fighting styles of greco-roman wrestling, boxing and catch Wrestling. Toney is trained only in the fighting style of boxing, which could be a disadvantage for him. I believe that Couture will win this fight if he can get it to the ground and wrestle with Toney; because in a stand-up fight Toney's boxing abilities might overwhelm Couture's. With Couture's ground game and his wrestling ability he should have this match pretty well in hand.

Blueonic: This is going to be a tough match, because the fact is we have a newcomer to the MMA world: boxer James Toney. Toney is going to have to possibly bring out the leg kicks (another reason why I can't do boxing because I would like to be kicking). With stand-up fights as they go it seems that he would reign supreme. However he's got to go up against Randy Couture right off the bat. I can say he's a make-or-break person because Randy is so good at both stand-up and on the ground. I think what Couture will do is first a stand-up fight for a while. He will probably wear Toney down, and then use his wrestling to bring him down and finish him off with a ground and pound. I would like to see this match go to Toney, but my feeling is it will go more toward Randy to win it. I say second round, unless it miraculously makes it to the third. The one thing that would disappoint me is if Toney came in with one shot that took out Randy. (I hate those one-shot fights. I want to see the guys be able to rough one another up till that KO comes out of nowhere.)

KBD: It's all about the leg work here, and from what we know of Toney an Ali leg shuffle isn't going to spell out a victory for him. Yes, both are trained in boxing (with Toney's career outshining Couture's, of course), but it's going to come down to both leg work and ground work here. From what I've seen of Couture he could easily topple over Toney in a round or two, and he also knows how to take a hard punch to the face. Toney may one day be a great MMA fighter in the future, but the books shall say that first match will be a loss.

Kenny Florian      VS Gray Maynard

Anvil: Kenny Florian must be excited! Being a native of Boston he finally gets to fight in his home state,  and he gets a good opponent in Gray Maynard. Florian, being trained in the fighting styles of Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai, and Gray Maynard, being trained in the fighting styles of wrestling and boxing, already shows that Florian has a better advantage. Florian's Muay Thai background, I feel, gives him a slight advantage over the very powerful Maynard as long as he uses his kicks and ground game. Maynard didn't get to 10-0-0 by being a pushover, after all. I see this fight coming down to a decision, and in my opinion the victory will belong to our hometown fighter Florian.

Blueonic: It's good to see Kenny Florian being able to come back to finally fight in Boston. We have so many good fighters but this is Massachusetts. So politics and regulations were always bogging us down to have actual fights here in the Bay State. So with that said I would like to see Kenny fight, but from watching a lot of Maynard's matches he's a scary guy; especially because he's rocking a 10-0 for his record. With that said no one is perfect, but these guy seems like he's a juggernaut and doesn't look like he will stop anytime soon. Sorry Kenny, but I'll have to go with Maynard on this one.

KBD: Florian's got his hometown backing him, so I bet the adrenaline that will be pumping through his body will help sustain a victory over Maynard. Maynard may have the perfect record, but they say everyone falls someday. Boston may easily get into Maynard's head and distract him, and when he leasts expect it Florian could start pounding down on him. I'm calling this match as a victory for Florian, but with a TKO.

Nate Diaz     VS Marcus Davis

"The Stockton Bad Boy" NICKNAME "The Irish Hand Grenade"

Anvil: This is going to be an exciting welterweight match! We have two men looking to climb up the ranks of the UFC, and their next stop is UFC 118 against each other. Nate Diaz, being trained in the fighting styles of Brazilian Jujitsu and boxing, and Marcus Davis, bringing his fighting style of boxing in, might bring out a good stand-up battle between each other since they both have boxing backgrounds. In my opinion I feel that Marcus Davis will win this battle because of his striking ability. Plus he is also 15 lbs. heavier, so he will use that to his advantage.This is one of those fights that can truly go either way because both me are good fighters, and if they stand up and box this out I wouldn't be surprised to see a knockout.

Blueonic: Well I will go with Marcus Davis, not because his nickname is "The Irish Hand Grenade," but with his record of 22-7-0 that shows he's got knowledge over Diaz (who only has 12-5-0 record). I have to say the experience usually proceeds in a fight like this. Go Davis, and go Ireland. (Note to UFC: please put an Irish Flag in UFC: Undisputed 2010.)

KBD: While Diaz has a slight height advantage over Davis, he has a bigger weight disadvantage to get over. (You may laugh, but fifteen pounds can make or break a match.) And with a lot more fights under his belt Davis has a stronger intelligence when it comes to grappling in the octagon. I think these two factors alone are going to check off another victory for "The Irish Hand Grenade," even if it comes down to a decision. Still you never know when Diaz is going to blow up, so Davis will have his work cut out for him if he wants this win.

I know that I will be glued to my television with all my friends to watch these and a few more great fights. This  will be Boston's first UFC event, and as a fan I want to thank Dana White for this and everyone else that made this and the UFC Fan Expo Boston happen .This is one of the best fight cards I have seen in a long time, and as I look into future events I also see some other really good match-ups. We will have a follow-up of all the winners after the event,  and I am sure the other members of the B3 crew won't let me forget if I am wrong with my picks.
